Terms and Conditions
What you can expect from EasyPeasyCV, and what it expects from you.
Last updated September 2, 2026
1. Who provides this service
These terms govern your use of the EasyPeasyCV website and account application. By creating an account you accept them. The service is provided by:
2. What the service is
EasyPeasyCV lets you keep one professional profile and build as many CVs from it as you like, in whatever language you need, and download each as a PDF.
It is free. No feature, template or limit is reserved for paying users. A free download carries a small easypeasy.cv watermark; a voluntary donation removes it, and that is the only difference money makes.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Give a real email address: it is how a password is reset and how you are told about anything that matters.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- If you sign in with Google, your Google account is the key to this one — keeping that one secure is what keeps this one secure, and Google's own terms govern the sign-in it performs.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal and not transferable.
- You can delete your account at any time from your settings, without asking anyone.
4. What you write stays yours
Your profile, your CVs and your photo remain your property. You grant us only the narrow permission needed to run the service for you: to store that content, display it back to you, translate it when you ask, and render it into a PDF. Nothing broader — it is not published, not shared, not used for marketing and not used to train models.
You are responsible for what you write: that it is accurate, that it is yours to write, and that including someone else's details — a referee's phone number, for instance — is something you are entitled to do.
5. Acceptable use
The service exists to help people apply for work. Do not use it to:
- store or distribute unlawful, defamatory or infringing material;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent an affiliation;
- attack, overload, probe or circumvent the security of the service;
- extract data by automated means, resell access, or run the service on behalf of others as your own product;
- attempt to reach an account, a CV or an administrative function that is not yours.
6. Donations and the watermark
- A donation is voluntary. It buys no feature, no priority and no obligation on our part beyond removing the watermark.
- Each donation is judged on its own: it grants either a watermark-free download credit or the lifetime removal, according to the amount, and donations are not accumulated towards a threshold.
- Payments are handled by Buy Me a Coffee under its own terms. Card details never reach us.
- If a donation is refunded, the benefit that donation granted is withdrawn. A download you had already made is not taxed for it, and any other benefit you hold is untouched.
- Where you are a consumer in the EU, your statutory rights, including any right of withdrawal that applies to a payment, are unaffected by anything in this section.
7. Availability
The service is offered as it is, without a guaranteed level of availability. It may be interrupted for maintenance, and features may change or be withdrawn as it develops.
If the service were ever to be discontinued, reasonable notice would be given so that you can export your data first.
8. No guarantee of a result
The templates are designed to be readable by both a person and an applicant tracking system, but no CV builder can promise an interview or a job. You remain responsible for checking that what a CV says about you is correct before you send it.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost opportunity, or for content lost because you deleted it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and if you are a consumer, your mandatory rights under the law of your country of residence come first.
Keep your own copy of any CV that matters to you. Downloading the PDF is enough.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account from your settings; deletion removes your content with it.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used to harm the service or another user, or where the law requires it. Except where a serious breach or a legal duty makes it impossible, you will be told why and given the chance to export your data.
11. Intellectual property
The software, the name, the interface and the CV templates belong to the provider. You may use them to build your own CVs; you may not copy the service itself, resell it, or present it as your own.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms can change as the service develops. The date at the top always says when they last did. A material change is announced in the application before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that means accepting it; if you would rather not, you can delete your account.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law stated below, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live if you are a consumer.
The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, though we would rather you simply wrote to us first.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms, or about anything else, go to the contact address published in section 1.
